Some people are more sensitive than others. It's normal. In what events do you usually cry?

You may be what is termed a highly sensitive person and there is nothing wrong with that. It has advantages and disadvantages to it. It can be a real pain...I am a HSP. If you feel it is to a point where it negatively impacts your life, your therapist might be able to help you with coping techniques. Best wishes.

I cry over the littlest things like when watching a video, or laying down at night. IDK it really just depends on the day IG.

I struggle with self-confidence issues too. There have been times when I've gotten into arguments with others and immediately felt an urge to cry because of how aggressive the other person came at me. Sometimes, I take certain comments that people say to me a little too personal. I ten to take a lot of things personally. I'm sorry to hear this.

I am going to try to look at some of the responses here.

I cry more than anyone I know. I'm crying now. I tend to have good reasons to cry and don't understand why other people aren't crying more. If everyone cried as much as me, the world would stop running, that's a fact....so it's a good thing it doesn't. I'm an HSP too and perhaps you are also. Like Jennifer mentioned, there is good stuff about being an HSP though I'm having trouble seeing them now through all my tears. Being this sensitive is painful and I'm very sorry to hear you deal with this too. Mine only seems to get worse with age....I learn more and more things I'm sensitive too. (((Hugs to all the sensitive souls out there)))

I cry a lot too, and have been told I'm way too emotional. It's not necessarily unattractive- my partner used to say that one of the reasons he fell for me was that I was so empathetic. However I understand how draining it can be. Im to emotionalThe others have good suggestions I think.
