You know you're acting like a spoiled child and overreacting in this particular situation.....

But there are crushed dreams behind it. Dreams that you never even dared to say out loud because you knew how unrealistic they were. But it still hurts when it's confirmed that you're definitely not getting the things you were wishing for.

It does hurt when your dreams are suddenly taken away. I would think screaming, crying or tantrums are a good way of handling the loss. Hugs coming your way.
Thanks for this!

Thank you.

I just hate that every little disappointment sets of a chain reaction of negative thoughts and feelings usually ending in "I don't want to be me anymore"

Ik the feeling and have actually threw the tantrums, when no one was around of course but even then it don't feel like enough. Like the feelings are not all out, especially if its hurt, it's like a burning in the soul

Sometimes when I see little children crying I feel envious because I am not allowed to express my pain or disappointment and they are.
Maybe it's because I wasn't allowed when I was their age either.
