I'm having a hard time coping this morning. I feel as though my world just turned upside down. It seems my provincial disability assistance has come under review. I can't help but wonder what could have happened to trigger this. It is probably a matter of routine I realise but of course I jump to the worst conclusions.

Most places do a review every so often. I have at least two coming up soon. From what I heard they're usually not bad and most people keep their disability pay. I hope it works out for you.

Thank you for the kind supportive words.
I put a voice mail in to my case worker once the office opened. It is the end of the business day now (I've been waiting all day for a call) and no response. Perhaps there will be news tomorrow. |

I hope it's just a routine review and that everything goes smoothly.

Still no response - and her voice mail specifically instructs callers to leave no more than one message.
I guess I must simply wait. They are just going to have to wait too. The deadline to return the documentation isn't until August. I have no intention of bending over backwards for them if they can't respect my concern and reply to a simple phone call. |
