I am really emotional and I feel like I'm lead by my emotions all the time.

I change my mind constantly. I change my hobbies every few months. I go back and forth and waver on my opinions. My feelings about people change by the hour.

I feel like this is a terrible aspect of my personality and my husband says it's one of the reasons he wants a divorce, because he can't keep up with me and I'm exhausting.

I tend to think out loud and process my emotions by talking through things, and I think this makes things even worse because the people around me feel jerked around when I change my mind. I'm trying to do more thinking before I talk. It's difficult.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for how I can be more emotionally stable and less exhausting to the people around me. I don't know how to change myself.

It shows that you are thinking deeper about things and that is good. Keep changing your mind as needed. Others must deal with it, do not let others keep you from thinking about things.

That is one way people process emotions and there is nothing wrong with it. Do you want to work on your indecisiveness? A therapist may be able to help you out with that. I'm lead by my emotions as well. It's very frustrating sometimes. Sending big hugs.

It's not automatically a bad thing to change your mind a lot. The question is ..how is it effecting you. I don't know anything about you so I can't offer any suggestions.

I tend to get very flighty and change me my mind often but I'm bipolar type 2. When I'm stable I'm able to stay on one track a little easier.

About your husband wanting a divorce and blaming you? Hmmm that's um I don't know what to to say. Are able to see a therapist.? Sounds like you have some important issues to deal with.
