So last week was a bad week. Got diagnosed with permanent hearing loss, and a pet died. It was a VERY BAD AWFUL week.

So I think I am getting better at this 'emotions' thing. I wanted to die, but I knew that wouldn't do anything.

So I called a friend.

And he was like "Christina, that's a healthy coping mechanism, calling me!"

And I was like "OMG". Because it IS.

Small progress. I would usually just hide in bed. #win.

Not really. But I mostly just need someone to sit there, and shut up while I talk. So he's very good at that.

Today I called my former mental health social worker. I wasn't looking for her to give me therapy, but I was calling about community resources.

Tonight I helped a friend find DBT resources in our city.

Tomorrow I'm calling the places the social worker suggested and seeing if I can get in to see someone asap. I don't want permanent therapy right now. Just someone to help get me through this really rough patch.
