Hang in there. Didn’t see this thread. Consider changing your career field maybe if it is not bringing the results? Things will get better soon

Thanks Divine!

That's one idea, although the thought is overwhelming and may not be so realistic. I have already changed careers several times in my life, I am 47 and am no longer young, and am now knee deep in my field.

I work in a highly specialized area of digital marketing, with 7-8 years of experience. I did try to change directions about two years ago and took a certification course in another niche field of digital marketing, but had trouble getting a job in that field due to lack of experience.

In order to change fields I would have to do another certification course ($$ I don't have) and then probably face a significant reduction in salary, which I cannot afford right now.

I feel a bit stuck in my field at the moment. I don't mind this because I pretty much enjoy what I do. I just wish it were easier to switch directions.
