Ok so I had to delete this, sorry. It just feels like TMI, lol. It was very odd and funny though. And stressful too, hence why I posted it.

Yeah, sounds pretty unenjoyable but worthy of a chuckle at least from where I’m sitting.
She seems pretty weird.

She invited you for dinner yet didn’t bother to feed you dinner and then treated you poorly? What an awful person.

I’ve met weirdos like that too

I had a so called “friend” like this once, needless to say I completely stopped talking to her. She’d invite people over but then make nasty comments. Once she cancelled on me because some guy was about to come over (booty call).

Oh once I had these friends, a couple, they invited me over but when I showed up they said they can’t have be over that night. So embarrassing. I don’t know if they had a fight or what but I drove for like half an hour to eat dinner they invited me too and I brought dessert!! I had to drive home hungry and upset

What weirdos

It was so weird! I had literally not even seen her in months. And we weren't really officially friends. Just we'd make small talk at yoga, and she seemed so nice. Something seemed really off / wrong with her, though tonight and I will not hang out with her again. Lol.

I titled my post "wtf just happened?" Because it literally seemed to happen so fast. She called me today out of the complete blue. Said she'd like to invite me over for dinner. Ahhh, well I guess now I know she's a weirdo and she knows I'm a pacifist. Lol.

We didn't get to eat dinner because I left before she could even serve it. She was that weird / rude.

Oh, and she seemed really surprised when I said "Ok, I'm gonna leave then." Like she expected me to sit through dinner then? Lol

Now I'm dying to read the original post. Good for you for standing up for yourself, having boundaries, and leaving then. No reason to force yourself to be around someone being nasty.

Thank you! I think I surprised her. She was a total B. Really rude.
