so I have just been dealing with my own issues with depression myself as of recently.

and as if I was not dealing with enough yesterday, my mother came home after spending an hour at work. Ending up getting fired from her job that she had worked at for 45 years.

She is still just trying to wrap her head around the situation, and seems like she is getting depressed I have never seen her like this before. I am trying to be there for her and be supportive. And I have told her I am concerned for her, but reassures me she will get herself out of this funk.

I do believe she will do this.
Just really concerned.

Your concern is justified.

Just do your best to support her - and remember to take care of yourself as well.
