I really like a friend of mine. I think she's super funny and pretty too, but I am afraid to ask her out because if she rejects me, I don't want our friendship to be compromised. I don't want things to be awkward between us. Any thoughts?

I completely understand how you feel! Just be honest with her. Explain that you want to ask her a question and don't want her to feel awkward. Ask how she feels dating her friend?

How does this feel for you:
"I really like you and we get along so well that I am wondering if you might want to go on an actual date. It's okay if you don't! But if you do, I have something in mind." If it feels okay, then edit as needed so it is in your own words. What is the probability that she will say yes; what is the probability that she will say no? Think about this scenario: you never ask her out. You stay friends and she gets someone else as a boyfriend and eventually marries him. How do you feel? |

((((NeedHelp104)))) I understand your fear. But if you really like her, the only way to know for sure if she likes you back is to ask her out. Do you think she likes you, as well?
