Calculus is not “inferior” to basic arithmetic. Although it might be deduced to be as such by the number of times it’s left alone and battered by the side of the road...

I'm not sure I understand the metaphor. I never thought of Fuzzybears as calculus, if that's what you mean. Fuzzybears shouldn't be cast aside and left alone.
