And today is my birthday, what a gift!
![]() Debating about ordering a moving kit off Amazon. It's about 50 bucks. But that makes things real official and the wrath of mom is bad. I tried to give her notice, I tried telling her I'm moving. I did retract the move statement but am back on track though I haven't told mom. It's just easier not to deal with the stress. I'm out of the will already, hanging around doesn't help. She never did put me back in. My brother also dangles it around my neck. I really have to learn to be independent on my own. They talked about moving out of state. I need to stay until my daughter is grown, at least 2 years. So that pushed me more into moving. It's small the thought of living on my own scares me, but group gave me some good suggestions. You gotta start somewhere, and this is a big step down from where I am now but I'm hanging on coattails. Got a compliment today, was told I look put together. Hope that look lasts when I'm doing it on my own.

Congratulations!! And happy birthday!!
You will do fine on your own! I'm sure it seems scary but the independence is thrilling! Try to write things out and set a budget. Do you have a community support worker to help with details like these once you have your own space? They will usually come to you in your home if you're comfortable with that. Mine is through where I see my psychiatrist. My CSW only has to see me once a month to keep me open within the program but more if I need her. We have been focusing on work lately but avoiding homelessness beforehand. They can help with so many things!! Look at it maybe as a new beginning and maybe not worry so much about your mom and brother.. he's off living his life right? And if your mom needs extra help with things I'm sure there are programs she can utilize for assistance. Not depend on you at every moment. You need to live your life too!! ![]()

She is fuming mad. Says she wants me out on the first. Don't come crying to them when I fall flat on my face. Just awful.

Im so sorry. Thats why, when my time came, i didnt say anything to my mother until i was halfway out the door. My mother had a bad temper also.
Tell her if she starts legal proceedings, it wont get you out any sooner. Legal eviction will take at least 90 days. |

She asked me. I answered. She's been asking every day. Yesterday I said I'd stay. So today I'm a liar. Even though I gave her notice. And have mostly said I'm moving. This is so hard. I wish they were supportive of me gaining independence. But they want me under their control.

Now they are waving a inheritance in my face. Saying I'll be unhappy in that apartment. I might be I'm not thrilled about it now. I just don't think I can move with all this backlash. I'm thinking of waiting for something I actually do like. But the location is great. I need therapy but can't get in. I'm on a time crunch.
