When I cry.....

I cry...
Because of the brutality of so many
Because “hurt people hurt people” (not always)

I believe
“Love is the weapon of the future”



(Not about anyone here)

I have had lots of tears lately.....after losing Leo just before Christmas there is this hole in my life that even my 2 doggies I still have & love just can't fill. I had such an amazing connection with him & even though I am still involved in the things I have been there is a huge emptiness in my life.

Not much makes me cry even if I feel horrible about things. This loss really has hit me hard. The price of love....I wouldn't trade the love we shared for not feeling my deep loss now....that love was priceless.

I’m so very sorry about the loss of your sweet dog. I remember you sharing stories about him. I just found out yesterday my sweet little girl is having health issues and she’s declining. She’s 12. I have been so depressed about it. We know in our minds that they can’t stay with us forever but our hearts don’t know it.

I am so sorry about the health issues & decline of your sweet little girl.....I know how it effects our heart & how they feel so shattered even thinking about it .

I kept telling Leo that my if my love could keep him alive & healthy I wished it could for the rest of my life. I knew it couldn't but my heart wanted it so bad. His older sister is 18 & I know she won't be with me much longer either. I love her very much but there still was never the very special close connection Leo & I had.

I hope your heart finds peace. I know how hard it is to lose these special little babies.

I'm not good at love, but I know understanding, kindness, accepting, believing in, helping...

It's something at least.

From a personal experience....I was around someone for 33 years who did those things because he was taught they were the "RIGHT" thing to do but he did them with "no feeling".....his actions came across as very superficial.

I have found that when there is a feeling of love for people (not even those related to) understanding, kindness, accepting, believing in, helping come naturally....sometimes it is harder to work at doing those things when a connected feeling doesn't exist. Still can happen but I often wonder if real connectedness is what is REALLY missing. Anyone can say they LOVE but real connectedness Is the real key.

I find that Papa bear shows those qualities ....
He genuinely cares.... as I also do, as anyone who knows me would agree, I hope
But I’ve known some who mouth all the “right” words...
But inside they are empty (at best ...)
