Do you bear grudges?

Do you sometimes sense or assume bad intent from people sometimes when there may be none?

Do you think being very sensitive (which I am) is a gift? Or not.

Or does it vary?

Does this vary according to your illness/mh issues?

Usually not forever. Typically I'll be upset for a bit but I can, after a reasonable amount of time passes and I cool down, let go.

I think it's quite possible I do this based on my context for the person and my own personal triggers. I'm trying very hard to not read into things.

I think being sensitive can have a lot of benefits. It can make you very compassionate. It can also make you very reactionary. I think like any personality trait, it has pros and cons. I don't think it's anything to be ashamed of.

Absolutely. If I'm agitated or feeling paranoid due to MH triggers, I will be much more likely to suspect bad intent. Whereas when I'm in a more normal frame of mind, even outright jabs that are obvious don't bother me.

I am a very sensitive person (someone could say something, and I'll asume it's about me) even though I don't know that for sure

I'll usually tell them in the nicest possible way to get lost, and if they want to talk about it later, then they can feel free to find me and discuss it.

then depending on their explanation depends on how I feel about future contact with that person

I might choose to stay in contact, but always remember what they did/ said so it will never be the same, or just cut contact with them all together

with all that said, if you've been my friend (for longterm), I don't hold anything against that person

I have few friends, an those I do have I keep close

if you're my friend, you're friend until the end

you just gotta work on the friend part first

Oh yes. I am an expert at them. But I like to put it this way.. I am very open and kind to people until you "flip my switch" which typically takes a lot. Once you flip it... it breaks... and you are dead to me.

I don't know why I am this way but you are literally dead to me. I have no further feeling or concern about you and likely, never will.
