I know anger is normal, it is a healthy emotion. but i find it difficult to keep under control. maybe lack of sleep can be the problem. I know good quality sleep can help combat many physical, mental and emotional problems. many times I explode without any good reason, so I have to quickly control this issue.

Is there anything major that happened in your life, that you haven't allowed yourself to face and deal with? If that's the case, your anger could be a side effect of not processing or grieving whatever loss you experienced. Six Signs of Incomplete Grief | Psychology Today

Can you buy a punching bag, @mark p? Sometimes that can help! I'd also suggest to do some physical exercise if you're not already doing it. Perhaps you can try out yoga or mindfulness as well! Just some ideas for you. Pick what you like. I also COMPLETELY agree with @StreetcarBlanche about exploring your Anger and what may be causing it. Are you seeing a therapist right now? I feel like that may REALLY help you. I hope you'll be able to manage your anger and stress! It's good that you're reaching out for help. That means you WANT to get better. You've already won half of the battle. Keep fighting! I hope you have friends and family who can support you! In either case, we're here for you when you need advice and support! Feel free to PM ANYTIME! I'll try to get back at you AS SOON AS I POSSIBLY CAN, I PROMISE YOU! Stay safe and take GREAT care of yourself! I'm sure others will gladly help you as well! Just keep reaching out, ok? Sending many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you and your family and friends, mark p! KEEP FIGHTING AND KEEP ROCKING!

I'm sorry you're having problems controlling your anger, Mark. Yes, having plenty of rest can definitely help control emotions. Or actually, not getting enough rest can make it harder for you to control your emotions.

Is there anything specific that triggers your anger? If there is, maybe you can learn to avoid it or try to understand what upsets you about it?

This is just a tip to deal with it when it occurs, fighting the sympthone, not the dissease. Close your eyes, straighten your back and take a deep breath. For me this works well especially when I'm outside.
