how do you handle stupid questions, and I mean really stupid, like they are asked either because the person is stupid themselves, or because they want to patronize you

questions like:

what color is a blue football or does toy story have any toys in it

those types of questions just irc me so much, and though I do want to give the person benifit of the doubt sometime, it sometimes generally feels that they are testing my patience

yesterday I was genrally asked: do you need to use the kettle to make a cold drink

Well... since I'm almost thoroughly reclusive I don't encounter this sort of thing much. But on the rare occasion I might I would likely just smile, chuckle, & try to come up with some mildly sarcastic response which would typically not be too difficult for me since I tend to be a pretty sarcastic person in real life...

If you feel....you need to respond; just say you don't know. It's not that serious.

I go sarcastic most times unless the question is genuine. I had a woman ask the sales associate at the dollar tree how much a certain thing was...

Who asks you these questions? I find it quite strange.

Well some people who ask dumb questions are ignorant or lack education or are just kids etc But questions people ask you seem to be a bit more bizarre than usual. Do you know these people? How do you know them?
Thanks for this!

It might be a bit tedious to point this out. Some people who might ask daft questions are often suffering from panic or social anxiety. Peoples cognition can freeze upon certain occasions which is why they can't see the obvious.
They might be annoying, but for the most part, I don't think they do so on purpose.
If thy do, then???

How much of exercise influence do you know is one stupid question I get a lot. There isn't anyone so everyone break of the over dependence here and move on!

To the posters point you just have to tell yourselves folks get lonely continue to help those who are obviously dealing with something involving how the mind body works.

Tell them the blue football is red and toy story is barred from having toys Tell them yes you need the kettle. fill it with cold water ,don't boil, pour on the drink

Once I was painting my fence when a little boy came along and asked me what colour i was painting it. i told him to have a guess frst and if he did not get it i would tell him. so he looked into the can and made his guess and it was right

I find stupid questions particularly obnoxious if the person in question is clearly being patronising.

I find the best response is to give them a Big Grin

To remind myself that I'm Ursida and they will also realise this

and to mutter under my breath

'eat ****'

I also find it strange and disrespectful if people ask questions that are that dumb..

I live in the same forest and a certain section of the population which I avoid is prone to being like that
