I think what happened is I got really triggered by my past abuse, surfacing because of my current work issues, and I got overwhelmed by it all. I'm pretty sure that's what happened, causing a meltdown.
I can experience this myself Have Hope and it can be hard to work through it when it happens. I find that a trigger can lead to my feeling not just the immediate frustration but all the times in my past where I experienced something upsetting that is similar. This can lead to experiencing an "alone" feeling like you have shared and there are a lot of other members who get what that experience feels like.

The fact that you found this outlet where you can vent what you are experiencing is a positive. The thing to remember is "you are only human" and we are designed by nature to be emotional beings and to communicate those emotions and fears.

When we are trying to navigate through our lives Hope, we come across others who learn to navigate by projecting their negative feelings and insecurities on others. It's not surprising a person can unknowingly form a collection of "life hurts" as they slowly grow and develop. Clearly a lot of people hit times in their lives where they genuinely struggle to navigate, that's why this site has so many members and individuals who do searches and come across this site and read different threads and these people are called "visitors". There are members from all over the world too. It's really proof that a lot of human beings face challenges they don't know how to navigate and try to find a way to reach out for help. Also, the holidays tend to be the hardest on many who believe if they don't celebrate the holiday a certain way it means they somehow failed in their life.

Take a time out today and allow yourself to find a way to just relax, maybe just pull out some cozy blankets and snuggle on the couch and watch some movies. Decide within yourself that you don't HAVE TO do anything but just gently float through the day.

Thank you.

I just became super sad, super overwhelmed, and I felt really victimized at work and throughout my life. It became overwhelming, and I truly felt all alone with my emotions.

I was a total wreck last night, even having suicidal ideation... It was really really bad, and tears were running down my face. I haven't felt THAT sad and alone in a very long time!

Today I am far better, thank goodness.

There are many people here who helped. I want to thank every single person who contributed to my thread last night to help me in my moment of need. It really meant a lot to me!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
