I must have a super-power and not know it. Who else can you explain every person, women especially, appear to cower, cringe, look down and scurry away when I get within 10 feet or so.
I've even had people gasp and jump when I suddenly appear from around a corner or behind a door. As you can probably guess, this has killed any chance of a relationship, not unless I find my "Wednesday", but those girls don't exist. I know that being 6' 4", solid build and 49 y/o gives me that Addams Family Lurch appearance, so maybe it's that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

What you write of, Ripperjack, is something I can identify with; although in my case it is not linked to the same physical features you describe.
It is unfortunate that people often make snap judgements about others, identifying them as friends or foes based on appearances. "Snap judgements" often seem to be the default position of people since it is easier than going for deep understanding. Do you think so too? Sadly I have been the victim of this, although I doubt any malice was intended. I have also made snap judgements about others sometimes. Sure hope circumstances change the situation for you and for the better! -- Yaowen |

Your Wednesday's out there. I wonder if you need to try situations where the real you comes through and people can see it. A class, a meeting of some sort, a volunteer situation? Maybe so.

She's out there, if you want her. Just be exactly who you are, not anyone else. And don't worry about everyone else. People make judgments about me all the time for various reasons. I just tune them out and try to do my thing.
Sending you support and strength!! You can do this!!!!
