I'm feeling really lonely tonight. Like its physically painful.

For the past 3 days I've wanted to online date again. I even signed up one night then deleted my account in the morning. I change my mind in the morning. Also this is a super stressful time for me. Not sure its a good time to subject myself to that horse ****.

I am also questioning medical billing and coding. It doesn't sound interesting at all. I'm also really scared. I'm not thrilled with this school either. There are things I would rather do: study human services and being a peer specialist, Sign language, knit, and there's a creative writing class that starts at the end of September I'd love to take. It would all likely mean, that I would get a job as a cleaner or stocker. But that might be a much better first job for me.

I'm so lonely. Tonight is the wrong time to make any kind of decision. But yeah. I really do not know if human services field is right for me. At all.

I just really want to snuggle tonight. With a dog. And a child. And a man who loves us.

Being under a blanket, listening to jazz, and journaling helps a little bit.

Hey Woven. I have two dogs and they are great company and comfort. But I haven't had very much human contact in months, so I understand the loneliness. When I used to get lonely and in need of human contact I would go to the bookstore and wander. Can't do that now. I even used to go to the grocery store every other day just to be around people. Can't do that either. I understand.

I hope this helps you feel just a little less alone.

Thanks AgentQ9A.

It comes and goes like a wave. Sometimes I just need to get it out and talk about it. I hardly ever do.

I am really a loner. Yet, I also adore and enjoy company at times. This pandemic has caused many to feel varying degrees of isolation.

I have been going through a lot. The isolation has added to the challenges for sure.

Rooting for you WG. Change can be unsettling, we have all had so much change this year and it sounds like you have had some extra with moves and a new course. It's all big stuff but maybe it will help to know even if you make a move now and it's not right you can change track, go to plan B or plan C even.

This is so true, CharlieGyrle. Yes, this pandemic has really made many isolated and lonely. Yeah I'm a loner too, I'm known to do stuff on my own w no problem. I'm a big introvert too. But yes I do love people too and need connection and hugs. Most of us do.

I think the pandemic has exacerbated the mh issues of some, and I read something online that its creating mental health issues in people who haven't had those issues before.Yes there's certainly an added layer of stress w it, too.

I'm sorry youre going through a lot right now. I hope it gets better soon.

Thanks. This helps. It reminds me of something I saw once: If Plan A fails, there's 25 more letters in the alphabet.
