It was a watch earlier; it is upgraded to a warning.
I am worried and praying hard, focusing on no fires for anywhere. Red Flag (Fire Weather) Warning in Eastern Missouri Prayers, please.

Thank you, my friend! I went looking for more info and found out St. Louis has been under fire warnings since Wednesday. I had No idea! I am checking my insurance to make sure fires are covered, just in case.

Thank you! There are no current fires around me, and I went through the news for the area under this watch. I live in a rural town; I am surrounded by farmland and a huge national park of thousands of acres. I keep thinking about the fires out west and how carelessly they were started.

I'll do my best! I checked the weather warning this morning again; they expanded the area. sigh
There have been these warning in effect since Wednesday and while no fires have broken out and it feels to me like there won't be any problems, that doubt exists. People can be so thoughtless and careless! And I have no car, no money to travel anywhere. sigh again.

Well, 6 PM has come and gone with no fires that I am aware of. I checked my area, St. Louis and Weather Underground. All were calm.
While I am grateful there were no fire problems this time, I realize I am better off working to be prepared for any problems as best I can, rather than trying to avoid what scares or upsets me. I think that will bring me more peace of mind.
