I want more out of life, but I'm scared to go off disability. It's so restrictive. All the rules. But i get amount of money. But I'm a bit scared my job will push me off it. And I'll have no choice. I like to live not sit around the house. But even now i feel my stress increasing and possible break down on the horizon.

Well, Aviza, if you feel like taking bigger steps and it is something that you truly wish to do, i'd give it a try. Perhaps consult with your therapis/pdoc before making any decision. i am not sure how things work but even if you go off disability, can you get it back once you understand that you don't feel ready yet? Sending many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @Aviza, your Family, your Friends, your Daughter and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!

You work part time right? It is more than other people on disability do. Or many aren’t on disability and still don’t work at all (not talking about those who are searching for a job). Give yourself pat on a back. You are doing more than many others. I’d keep disability and part time job, at least for now

It's understandable that you struggle with this challenge because it can definitely limit a person to having to live a certain lifestyle.

It would be nice if that was considered so a person who struggles can at least try and see if they can work full time and get to a level of being more independent despite whatever their challenge is. A way that doesn't punish the person for at least trying where they would have to go off of assistance and reapply all over again if they find they simply can't make it due to their disability.

Given the pandemic and how so many are out of work and trying to manage it may be much harder if a person tried to become more independent and it not working out where they risk not being able to get back on assistence.
