I quit walking, barely shower only when absolutely necessary., just really have no drive. My arms worker mentioned it. She's never seen me like this. I don't know what's causing it.

I'm not depressed, haven't given up, just kind of a lump on a log. Maybe cause I missed a weeks worth of meds. Maybe it's affecting me a month later. I'm not sure what to say. I eat, I cook, I go to work and my appointments.

I was house and dog sitting for a week. Maybe I'm just run down.

Weeks off meds would make people feel all kind of ill. How and why are you skipping the entire week?

Pharmacy didn't have med. Was prayed over by spiritual healer thought I was healed and no longer needed them anyway. Took it as a sign.

If you are prescribed meds, spiritual healer won’t replace them. How did pharmacy have no meds for a week? Call your doctor. You likely experience reaction to withdrawal from meds

Dear Aviza,

I believe your lack of motivation has to do with not taking your meds recently. You sound like you are falling apart. I've been there also. I did not take my meds at times, fell off the wagon, and ended up with raging psychosis each time. I did this about five years ago the last time of about 8 times being off my meds. I had to go home and ask my family to help me. I was in no shape to take care of myself. Please see your psych doc ASAP. Sometimes, psych docs have samples of medications. I think you should ask your psych doc for free samples if your pharmacy does not have any in stock. Also, why can't you go to another pharmacy? I think you and I have a similar diagnosis. You should take your medications. I am taking mine and still have minor problems but am not psychotic for now. I highly urge you to take your meds before you end up on the streets or worse. I was homeless once too from being off my meds. You are seeking answers because you are posting here. Please take your medication again before it is too late.
Thanks for this!

So Sorry for what you're going through! Please Do not give up! i can relate to the lack of motivation. i agree with the other wise and wonderful posters that not taking your meds may be the cause. Please do contact your Pdoc/doctor as soon as possible. Stay Safe. Sending many Safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @Aviza, your Family, your Friends and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!

I saw my doctor he gave me samples. I told him the problems I'm having with the pharmacy. I'm taking meds as prescribed.

I echo what the others say. Get back on your medications. Mental illness is not cured by religion. In fact my doctor prescribed me Wellbutrin to help with motivation.
