Another night on a lower dose sleep came faster. However today struggling with lots of sweating and anger. (My friend has been telling his mum things about me even though I told him not too). I was irritated about this yesterday but today it's turned into full blown rage I just keep getting thoughts of punching him in the face and telling him that he can **** off with his family and go to hell. I told him yesterday not to contact me for 4weeks. Yesterday night he replied he hoped it wasn't about him. I ignored it. He sent a text saying "I'm here for you". That increased my anger. I blocked his number since and am trying to calm my anger down with deep breaths. I know Seroquel can trigger anger and I'm just working with the symptoms as they come.

Yes, @black-roses. If the intense anger you're experiencing now, wasn't there while you were on a higher dose of seroquel, then in my layman's opinion it's because you're now taking a smaller dose of that medication combined with the fact that you're upset over your friend breaking your confidentiality to his family - and then saying he's there for you. You're right: that dynamic could be acting to trigger intense anger. I've had very similar experiences on seroquel.

Please watch that your powerful feelings of hurt/anger don't bring you into a deeper state of despair, though. If you seem to be having trouble coping with your emotions and getting a good balance of meds, then maybe you'll need to approach the doctor again, explaining to them your difficulty coping. Because going by my personal experience, dealing with too much intense anger can be very very draining and increase depression too. 🙏
Thanks for this!

At first there was the intense anger but now it's stabilised it could also be because I put it on break with my friend. He just stresses me out so I just want to focus on school

Are you stopping it because you don’t need it anymore? Or did you develop something like TD, Tarditive dyskinesia? I did because I had been on Geodon for like 15 years and coming off of that was brutal Absolutely brutal. Make sure you have some thing for sleep and possibly anxiety. Regardless of how you wean off of it even when you’re done doing that and you don’t have it at all you might have some sleep issues. In fact my insomnia has gone away for years and now that I’ve stopped it on it’s been awful. I’ve been having sleep studies and I’ll kinds of stuff.
