My apt is going well. I got a garage today. I think my job is where God wants me. But I'm struggling with settling in and have been there about a year in 3 weeks.
the stress of looking for a new job is getting to me. my blood pressure is rising. I'm kind of feeling like I need to either give up the job or give up looking. the stress of the job is high, the stress of looking is high. I'm in a job in my field of study. it's basically impossible to leave, for an alternate job. this job has advancement potential but it's already causing great stress. my psychiatrist says find a new job that was 6 months ago. no one wants to take someone out of their field of study. or else I'm just a crappy interviewee. I can't afford to stay I can't afford to quit. what do I do? just keep working at this company they do listen they are very understanding. I work 3 to 4 days a week. mostly 3 but next two weeks are 4 due to client needs.

Perhaps you can slow down the job hunt a bit, and just do it when you feel up to it. Or see it like going shopping online - do it on the side of watching friends or something funny. No need to be too structured about it, you're just looking to see what's out there.
