I just left a really crap review

of my local mental health service
I have been wanting to do it for so long and to finally have it up their showcasing how bad my treatment was, I feel so good about it.

Agreed. I get that counselors are human too and therefore have good and bad days, and I don’t know the particulars of your experience; but no one should have to deal with disrespect and lack of helpfulness when one is in a very dark place.

I would argue that I feel more vunnerable now, than I did before I used the service

on the other hand though, it really doesn't take much to make me feel vunnerable.

I don’t think you’re an idiot lol— and it’s perfectly understandable that you would feel more vulnerable after an experience like that. I mean, these are people who are supposed to help you when you have no other support, right?

I did the same thing to a therapist and she called my house phone and told my mom to make me take it down. This was a couple years after I stopped seeing her. Then a couple years later I wrote another review. And she harrassed me through email until I feared for my legal safety and took it down. Finally I wrote a 3rd one and really let her have it and she never said anything.

I mean if they respond that way they are trying to cover up something.

Isn’t that illegal? I think they have to complain to the service that hosts the reviews and then they investigate. That’s awful.
