I know my journey with self love
Has been filled with perils along the way
Somehow we absorb the notion that
We are difficult to love
Because we seen destructive environments
And bad ways of dealing with emotions
I know with me I always have this notion
That the people I talk to don't like me
Or don't want me there
It has been a difficult but a very necessary journey to put myself out there
And have compassion to myself
On the days it might be the hardest to feel emotions
It's challenging the preconceived notions within us
That we grow and can birth a new you

Why I mention this on Valentine's Day
Because all forms of love are equally important
You could have a relationship with someone
But still feel devoid of your own self love
Which can impact that relationship
So regardless if you do or don't have romantic love it is important to nurture the relationship
That you'll have your whole life yourself.

Single ladies there's nothing wrong with being single pamper yourself take yourself out on a date don't feel like you need a relationship to feel worthy
Because that's undermining the fact that you are, worthy indeed just by existing. Happy Valentine's day!

As for me I still think Miley Cyrus's advice on buying on buying yourself flowers is the best advice I've ever heard 💐So I know what I'll be doing 😉😉😀😗🥰
