I left my gf's apartment last night around 9 pm. I walked down to my place and I found the toilet overflowed. My bathroom carpet was covered with water.
Oh I'm going to be in trouble I thought. I live in a HUD highrise and the housing authority is never easy to deal with. It is a win lose situation. They win and you lose. So I was upset, very uspet thinking that I had to deal with the office and put in a work order. I think I might have been having a mild attack of anxiety. But I borrowed a spare mop friomn my gf and got some rags. I cealed the water and tried to dry the carpet. Right now it is still wet but drying. I didn't sleep well last night. I was up a good bit worriying that water might be going into the aprtment below me. So far I didn't get any calls so I'm assumping that didn't happen. But at the time I was really worried and upset. Hate having to deal with these people. Never know what maintenance will say when the ycome into your apartment. They treat you like crap when they are having a good day even wrose when they have to come in and clean up somebody's toilet. They try to blame it on you but it isn't my fault. I'm ok now. But I was nervous and a bit shaky all day. Did a bad thing overate. I always do that when I'm feeling anxious. But it passed. I'm ok. I'll have a better day tomorrow. |
