When you go and visit a t for the first time, they ask what are your stressers. I didn't realize until later that this could be anything. For me it could be something as little as a memory. When this happens it is like I started spinning out of control. We have adjusted the meds several times and I am still rapid cycling. Has anyone else felt like this. How do you ask your psych doc if it is bipolar.

I haven't had the experience you describe. It sounds very uncomfortable. But I would think if you explained in a very specific, detailed way, how you are feeling and ask directly about bipolar, he would be able to give you better feed back and address your concerns about being bipolar.

Can't stop you from praying and blessing me,
and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."

Hi bera,

I would keep a diary of my mood swings and take that into the psych. Either summarize it for him or let him read it for himself. That would give him the best insight into what is going on for you and then you take it from there. Tell him you think you are rapid cycling bipolar and the discussion will take off.

Love and Hugs,
Tara

Thanks for the input. I have brought these mood swings up. She thinks theres more going on but the pdoc does acknowledge them.
