I put all my heart and all my effort into it and she says I don't care, I never talk, I proved she doesn't matter. I went/and am still going, between such hurt and anger. I don't care?? That's why I do all I do. That's why I sit and sob. She's so young and has known such pain. I couldn't change my plans, there wasn't time. Now I supposedly don't care. It just hurts. I wanted so much for her and believed in her---and still do. She just doesn't believe me.

She is a dear special young lady that I love like a daughter, that I would move heaven and earth for if I could. She is a young lady that has become so special to our family that she is a part of it, but she is unable to let herself be comfortable enough to accept that. She is special.

Hmmm, Cantstopcrying, you clearly care for this person who said something untrue that hurt you. I'm puzzling over why she said it, or what moved her to say it. Is it possible she was trying to say something else, but the only words her mind could form at the time were those? I find it unlikely she could so easily dismiss all the evidence you care for her, unless she is suffering from something - or some influence - impairing her social sight.
Anyway, we know you care and are caring!

This sounds like her difficulty not yours. You are very caring. Maybe her self-esteem is so low that she can't beleive anyone would truly care for her. I'm sorry you are hurting

You are right, she doesn't believe that she is worth caring about, doesn't believe in unconditional love, doesn't believe that there can be a disagreement and it won't change anything. I just wish I knew how to get her to believe that she IS worth caring about, worth driving to get, worth every tear, just worth it.
