Babysteps said it well...because we care about you.

I don't say the following because it is easy, but it is truth. And, I have have been where you are saying, "why bother." Don't wait until you are 60 years old (my age) to seek out the the truths about life.

Why bother?

Because life it worth living, even when you can only find perceived darkness all around.

Because the sun rises and sets each day telling us that another day has been given to us for live. Today is a gift. That's why we call it 'The Present.'

Because finding the 'light' is better than living in the 'darkness.'

Because there are people in your life who do care (even if it doesn't feel like this is true!) Find just one person in your life who would miss you and you have the answer to 'why bother.'

Because you only have one life...there are no second chances. We only have the opportunity to get it right once. And, I know from my own truth that the later you let it get in you search of the 'light,' the more regret you will find knowing that you could have done it sooner.

No one has the power to make you happy. Only YOU can make happiness in your life. It is your turn. Happiness can not be given to us by another person or thing.
I define comfort as self-acceptance. When we finally learn that self-care begins and ends with ourselves, we no longer demand sustenance and happiness from others. ~~Jennifer Louden

Teary I hate to see you feeling this way. You have been through a lot, but I know you can and will get through this. I know it's a rough time for you. Please take good care of yourself. Can you see about calling/seeing your T, maybe a friend, someone to come and be with you?

Write as much as you can and need to here. Just take care of you.

(((((Teary)))))) I would think that you bother because you care - about yourself, about others. That's a good thing, to be able to care. I'm sorry your feeling bad.

Can't stop you from praying and blessing me,
and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."

I feel the same way sometimes. Like today. But I'm still here, fighting this thing called depression.
I'm sorry you feel bad.

I think many ppl wonder why bother. I've thought that many times myself and almost didn't make it through. But we do bother bcz deep down there is a glimmer of hope. So look inside and see the sparkle of hope growing inside and hopefully grow so big to lift your spirits right up
