Depression runs my life. If it lets me get out of bed.

I can start a project for about 5 minutes and then I am lost and do no more.

If I don't make a list when I go to the grocery store (2 items or more) I forget what I wanted.

If I go to the post office to mail something I generally have to return
home to get it as I forget to take the mail with me.

I do this going shopping too as I will forget to take money.

I have to have my therapist office call me the day of my appointments or I will forget to go.

If I want to stop at the grocery store and the gas station while I am out I will generally for get to go to one of them.

My memory has been interrupted by depression so bad that I am lucky to know my own name.

Sorry I am complaining again, just wanted to get it out.
Hugs for everyones day.

I can also sympathise. My memory was terrible during the worst of my depression. And I had the attention span of a flea! It gets better though. Don't lose faith or your strength!

True. Also, your "complaint" is someone else's "Oh my goodness, I'm not alone!"

I have problems like that also; I have extra keys for my truck, 3 sets. One day I go out and it is pouring rain, I mean raining hard. So I decide to leave my truck running because I will only be in this place for a minute or two, just had to drop off my phone bill. So I lock my tuck while it is running and go in and pay my bill. When I get back to my truck I don't have any keys. Yep, 1 set in the ignition 2 set on the seat of the truck. Standing in the rain felling like an idiot. It's funny now but then. I don't lock my truck anymore.
