I'm SO sick of people effing doing this to me. Especially my mom. It pisses me off. I don't want to go into details, but in general, it all goes down like this: I tell, or ask my mom for something, she at that point, acts as if its a good idea, or says yes, enthusiastically. Then, she'll tell someone behind my back, (usually my dad) that she's not all for it, blah blah, behind my back. The thing that pisses me off is the fact that THEN, when I asked her, she could've been truthfully with me and told ME she didn't want to do, or want, or w/e, any concept that has to do with what I told her. THIS is what makes me go into depression and have as many trust issues as I do.

I have some similar experiences. Yeah, it's a great way to tear down the trust between two people. I have friends that do it to me. I get pissed off as well. I am to the point were I really don't trust anyone anymore.

I was just thinking - maybe THEY have an issue with confrontation.
They say what they THINK YOU want to hear, but don't have the courage to express to you their real feelings. As for talking behind your back - Yes that is definietly DIS-TRUSTFUL. Wheather family or friends..... there's so much of that it stinks. |
