Just a quick question. Can anyone determine what the lenght of extreme fatugue and exhaustion due to depression is. I know all are different, but from my standpoint of going from a tornado to a wet noodle is a bit much. I know the meds are a factor but should I not see some improvement in my overall physicial stamina? Sometimes it is an effort to breath!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry you're not feeling any relief from your meds yet. How long have you been on them? What meds are you taking. Some meds have a side effect of sleepiness, etc. Have you talked with your doc about how you're still feeling?

I'm so sorry!!!!!! You may consider meds. There are some antidepressants that are very activating which can be good if you don't suffer from anxiety. I think these include prozac and lexapro. A checkup in general might be good to ensure that it is depression. I find that exercise helps with both depression and fatigue. Best of luck!
