Is anyone on effexor?

Does it cause you weight gain?

I'm not on it, but know several people who have been on it. It did cause them weight gain. I'm on zoloft, it seems to curb my appetite a bit, while also really helping my depression and anxiety.

i was on zoloft & i gained 15 pounds!

A friend of mine was on it and it did cause him to gain some weight (not much though). You also might want to check your triglycerides regularly... his were 3 times above the normal after only a few months.

I'm on effexor and I haven't had any weight gain, myself.
