Even though my parents don't say it, they expect me to achieve as high as their colleague's daughters.
I don't want to disappoint them because they have done so much for me. Yet, I feel miserable because I could never be as either smart, talented or witty as them. I feel guilty, vulnerable and stupid in the same time... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Lonelyperson, what do you want? What things fascinate, please, and fulfill you without reference to anyone else? If you could shut off the external and even internalized voices of others telling you what you should want, what would the real Lonelyperson tell you?
By the way, “I don't know” is an acceptable answer. If that's the case, then you might consider some adventuring to discover possible answers – and there may be more than one. Wishing you a future filled with happy excitement and not fear! ![]()
