Tomorrow is step two (out of 4) of my re-assessment--Psych Testing.

I MUST be as honest as I can possibly be and believe myself that I am being honest. Because I want to believe the results of the test and not give my "thoughts" a chance to say--"you were faking it..."

I guess I could use some hugs and maybe a few words of encouragement if you can muster some for this tired ole theme of mine.

Thank you for all the support you've given me already!

You are so right and have the right attitude. The more honest you are, the more accurate the diagnosis will be, the better you can be treated. It's scary to be that honest, I know. But you will truly be better off if you do!

Let us know how it goes!

Quite frankly, (((((Berries))))), I don't believe that you are capable of faking anything. I know I haven't been at PC very long, but I have never seen any indication in any of your threads or replies that would even suggest falsehood. You are always blatantly honest and open about what you are feeling and experiencing, as well as expressing care and concern for others. Just try to relax and, as I said in your other post, consider sharing your fears and concerns with whoever is doing the testing before you begin - get it all out in the open - release the tension so you can just relax through the process. Lots and lots of HUGS for you.

Berries You can do this, you will do this and it will be fine. Don't listen to the negative thoughts that you are "faking" things. Sounds like old messages and old guilt trips you need to sweep out of your mind. Let us know how it goes tomorrow.

Berries!

Be honest, be yourself, and try not to over-think each question.

Thank you (((theotterone))), (((lynn))), (((Pomegranate))), (((idon'tknow))),and (((Rohag))).

I'm kind of glad today is here. I've been stressing about it for 2 weeks now. Soon it will be over with. I'm leaving for the clinic soon but wanted to re-read your replies one more time.
I'll let you know how it went when it's over.
Thank you again, friends.

{{{Berries}}} let us know how it went. I am around until 7:30 pm central (at work, it's getting slow) so I will be in and out. (won't be around tonight, standing Friday Night @ best friend's place so if it's after work, I'll catch it tomorrow!)

((((Berries)))) There is no one in the world going to fake what we live. It just would not happen. I to ask myself if it is depression or me. I think about this a lot. But it is not me, I know this, I know me, I don't ask anyone for anything, I don't want anything from anyone, I just want to be happy and me. But that may never happen again. You are getting a chance of a life time to find a cure. Hang in there, best of luck to you. You are awesome people never forget that. Hugs for your day.

It's over. I just got home a little while ago. I am completely drained. I was there for 4 hours with a 20 min lunch break.

He asked me so many questions! And I had to take about 5 different tests. It was HARD and anxiety provoking.

I am so glad it is over.

Now he writes up a report based on all my answers and tests and my pdoc will go over it with me next week.

So it's pins and needles until then.

But I do feel relief that the testing is over. The whole process is half over now YAY!

Thank you for all your support!!!!

(((((Berries))))) - 4 hours!! So proud of and happy for you. You got it done. It will be interesting to get the results next week - this may give your pdoc a whole new perspective on your treatment. Get some rest, now - you've had a really tough week.
