My partner's depression is out bursting again. He is extremely hot temper. He got so angry when he heard something 'wrong'. may be it's just a word, a concern or a reminder from family or me, If he thinks it's annoying or hurting him, he got so so angry, and even wanna shift to other place. I don't know what to do.
He once believe in a pyschiatrist and will listen to him. But now he just hate him and refuse to see him. Because the psychiatrist was busy and never answer his call some time ago. I don't know who else can help him or how to help him. I'm fear to talk to him because he is so so so hot temper. It's like all words will go wrong. help.

He's planning to stop taking medicine because he complained he has to wait too long just to take the medicine. And he's frustrated and thinks that all psychiatrist is bull **** where they just ask a few simple questions, and tell him not to be negative, take medicine and done. He thinks that if depression is so easy to be cure, just be positive, then there won't be any one suffering from depression. I'm scare that he will be insane if he continue to be so negative. There's no other psychiatrist in our place.

Depression is very complicated and effects everyone differently .
Anger management would be something to consider for the hot temper. I wish that thinking positive was the solution to magically pull him out of it . It is part of the solution but there are many other things to consider , like current situation , medications , therapy , just a few to mention . As far as depression is going to cause him to go insane , I wouldn't worry about that too much.
I've been depressed for many years , some people may call me insane , but I think otherwise .
I hope you find a way to talk to him without him blowing up at you .
Take care of yourself .

Hello, 1000! I looked at your other posts and I agree this is a difficult, complicated problem. Dealing with depression by itself or anger by itself would be hard; dealing with both together is much worse than simply adding 1 + 1.

In order for you to remain helpful to your partner, you need to be safe. Are you becoming afraid of him?

May no harm come to you, 1000, and may your care for your partner bear good fruit.
