I had a former boyfriend who insisted that tears are like other things we are ashamed of: Better out than in That's what he used to say when I would give him the "crying is weakness" line. I mean, it's a fine line between aknowledging that crying is a signal that something is wrong and making it out to be that that "Thing" is us. For all it's worth, I don't NOT think that people who cry are weak, yet can understand your feelings. It's OK. Really. It's OK to cry here. Take it from me, I'm a notorious bawler!
