I read an article about Agomelatine for Depression; it seems like an interesting new medication. I was shocked to read in a different article that it may be more effective than Prozac.

It definitely is good to have a new class of medication for depression, but the efficacy doesn't seem that much better.

Anyone hear such a thing?

Hello & thank you, Bluebird2! I've never heard of that drug. Perhaps you might find something in the Drug Questions Forum.

Of course, since individuals can have such diverse reactions to the same antidepressant medication, "your mileage may vary" with any of them.
