When I was a teen, I did a lot of creative writing. I got away from it as I got older. We with any type of mental illness tend to be a creative bunch, but sometimes, especially with depression, it is hard to see your blessings, let alone count them.

So last night I was sitting at my table with one of my new cool notebooks (I have a thing for them) knowing I wanted to write SOMETHING, just not sure what. Then I got an idea.

What if you had written a best seller book? What would your dedications at the front be? I wrote more than I would put in said imaginary book, but I was amazed at how many people I have in my life I truly care about and that I know care about me!

Try it! You'll be surprised!

I always thought I would deicate first to my savioour, and then to my maternal grandfather who took on the father role for me when my own could not do it, and left this world when I was nine. One of the greatest heroes I have known.
Thanks for this!

Another interesting way to look at our lives - like a glass - that half full rather than half empty. Thank you!

With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."

I dedicate this book to my son, Rob. You were my inspiration to write this Young Adult Reference book. Because I know you weren't liistening half the time when I was teaching you how to cook or do laundry or all the things you didn't worry about then because Mom would do it. So here it is. Everything you were supposed to listen to. Have a great life. Don't forget to set the alarm clock. Love, MOM.

Well, I must beg to disagree. I did in fact write a book and had it put together by a print-on-demand publisher. There was no need for a dedication or acknowledgements page because there was truly not a single name that I could have put on it.

No one has ever had any interest in helping me.

((((trevor0)))) That really sucks! That's worse than mine, which is people have tried to help but haven't managed to. What did you write, by the way?
