I have had a recent medication change and have noticed that my brain feels sleepy but my body is awake during the daytime. And I feel somewhat depressed. I have an appointment with my doctor next week, maybe he can sort things out because I have no life right now. It's not safe for me to drive.

I hope they get your meds straightened out. You are very wise not to drive when you feel so sleepy. Sending you very, very good thoughts!!!!

Zen888,

It sounds like you kind-of are in a mixed cycle with the awakeness and such. I hope that your doctor can figure things out for you and you are starting to feel better real soon. phoenix47baby

This kind of feeling tends to be a common adverse effect of many medications. What are you on? Your doc should be able to prescribe something that doesn't affect you as much. I'm sure its an unpleasant feeling, but kudos on making a quick appointment. Very smart of you. Hope you're feeling better soon

I'm sorry you are going through this. May it be temporary.

Do you mind sharing what med it is? I am going through some med changes and would like to know if you feel comfortable saying it.

I have a similar thing going on too Zen (though I'm not changing meds) so I feel for you. My problem is that my brain AND body always feel tired/sleep (not sure which is the correct term). Hang in there and I hope they get it straightened out for you.

I googled both zeldox and bromazepam and both have side effects of drowsiness and dizzyness.
