I am going to a DBSA (Depression Bipolar Support Alliance) support group tomorrow night. Well that is the plan anyway. If I don’t chicken out I am going. Just going is hard enough but I also don’t like being out after dark.
Could use some encouragement from you all, if you wouldn’t mind because I really think it could be a good thing for me.

I agree. "Coldly" analyzed, this seems like a "low risk / moderate-to-high payoff" venture. Berries, I assume you can get safely to and from the meeting place?

You will be fine Berries. I attend a DBSA group on Monday's at noon. Very informative and meet good people.

The rules are
1. What's said here stays here..confidentiality 2. Limit discussions of medication...because everyone's body is different.. 3. "I" statements...I have found this helps me....not YOU SHOULD DO THIS 4. Let everyone talk, do not monopolize conversation 5. It is okay not to talk also!! then an ice breaker question like favorite book, sometimes they ask how you are doing emotionally too.. then it opens up to share whatever you want..
