Is it possible that I am slowly falling into another depression? Today has been quite bad, felt like just staying in bed, shutting myself from the world again and being fed up of taking care of people, just wanting to vegetate!
Could it be coming back???? What a life this is turning out to be! |

Today is a bit better, hopefully it will pass. I guess having gone through hell in the past year and feeling better now, at least being able to function, I do worry this will not last. I have to live one day at a time, learn to take the bad with the good and especially not to dwell into the past and also keep myself under control. My imagination can bring me so far out....stay in reality is especially hard...

Try to distract yourself for a while watch a movie, do something creative, or anything to get your mind off of what is going on. I have found the more you talk or write about the depression the worse it gets. No matter what remember I am here rooting for you and wanting the best for you. I am here for you.

I agree with leacon, try to find something that will distract you. For me, working out, being active really helps. Exercise helps me get my mind on something else, and it is also very good for mental health. But maybe for you there is something else that works. I know it can be hard. Do you have a buddy that can try to help motivate you to distract yourself with other things? That helps too, to have someone there to help motivate you to take care of yourself. Or you might want to see a counselor if you aren't doing so, to help get you through this rough time.

Doing much better today, went to see the movie Blindside with my daughter, it is a very uplifting movie worth seeing and had a nice evening with my daughter.
Also trying to stay focused at work on what is important and the rest should take care of itself. Thanks everyone for your replies, I am so grateful for this forum and especially its wonderful members ![]() |
