Today is the 1st day this year that it's snowed here. I am in a deep funk, but grateful for nature, & the purity & beauty I am blessed to see as I look out of my window.
Thanks for this!

Thank you for posting. Do not know where you are from but todsay is the first day of snow for us too. I was just out in it shopping and it is pretty. Watching it fall in big flakes is really a site. It has not stopped here yet, but they say it will soon. I can relate to feeling out of it right now but it is a beautiful site. Thank you for sharing. I hope you get to feeling better. Sending you gentle hugs.

Thank you for posting this
I used to live where it snowed and the bright beautiful snow had a positive effect on me too. It is still calming to see, even in pictures or in movie scenes.

I'm so glad the snow came to help lift you out of your funk
Thanks for this!

Hi Darkpurplesecrets (& everyone who replied),
I live in PA. Btw, I've noticed a lot of threads w/ your username today, & it seems you're going thru a tough time. Sending hugs- feel better. Try to enjoy the snow! Echoes- I was born here, but lived in Miami for a long time before moving back home. I came back b/c I missed the change of seasons, too. Sending you snowflakes in the form of hugs.
Thanks for this!

I'm glad that nature has the power to calm us - being able to take a moment to appreciate things over which we have no control helps, I think. We have deer who wander about our neighbourhood and they make me smile. Love the snow too. Take care.

We hardly get any snow where I go to school (just rain... ick!) so I'm hoping that when I go home for Christmas I might get to see some. It really is beautiful.

I love snow too, hoping for some snow really soon. I like alot of it so I can go play with my dog outside in it and even a little is nice for the beautiful scenery. It gives me calmness, a sense of peace at times.
Thanks for this!

Lots of snow here today too - it looks very pretty though still overcast - will be nicer when the sun comes out - it's nice to have proper snow rather than the wet and slushy stuff in the UK.
Thanks for this!
