I'm not absolutely certain what fml stands for but I can guess. Mmm... so many of us struggle at this time of year. Hang in there, we'll get through this together...

its just like, I want to disappear without making a fuss. Like if I just never existed things would be better.

sigh.

Can someone point me in the direction of some silver lining? Even just some sparkles..

Hello, jacq10. I too have spoken the words you have spoken here. After years and years of pills and platitudes, I was left exhausted without any medication that was particularly helpful, nor a voice to guide me.

Even so, the terrible frustration had not entirely extinguished the hope. That bit of hope and a stubborn determination kept me going, even if at times on my knees. There is no magic. Just hard work.

I now function at a higher level. Ups and downs, at least for me, are inevitable. The battle to maintain is constant, but I am thankful I continued the fight.

Good luck!
Thanks for this!

It sounds like you're particularly stressed right now. I get it, the last few weeks of the semester are really taking a toll on me too. I am so overworked and exhausted and resentful of my school and my courses that sometimes I could explode! But look at it this way -- every paper returned and every exam written is one step closer to graduation, and once you graduate you can start fresh and go wherever you want. Nothing you're feeling or going through right now is permanent. School is tough but it won't last forever.

((((((((((((((((((JACQ10)))))))))))))))))))) Lots of people would be lost without your beauty, jacq. Although the next few weeks may make things look hopeless, they will pass. Pass the time by writing something you are interested in - like your own condition, if you can! Call on the inner strength that your postings and friends here say that you have. If you have final papers, make an outline, and hook it together. If you have exams, involve your 3 senses for quicker learning - copy your notes [tactile; sight], read and repeat them [auditory]. Make it a game if you can. You are not alone in your end-of-semester grief, but I realize that depression makes it ever so much harder. If you have anxiety, as well, try to turn that into energy. Your picture shows you to be beautiful and capable, and I'm sure the capability is there, even if it's not apparent to your depressed state. Struggling with You ~ billieJ
