I wrote this in my blog this past Friday. I thought I'd share.

The last seven months of my life have been completely enveloped by a thick fog, the type that you encounter in the early mornings.

The fog was so thick at times that I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. During those darkest moments I feared that any slight movement would send me falling over a cliff. At those times I stood stock still, afraid of falling.

There were a few moments of bravery where I ran full speed ahead, not caring what happened. At those moments I ran into many obstacles. I suffered a lot of cuts and bruises that I now where as my battle scars. Some have healed over but if you look closely you'll still see the scarring that will probably never go away. Some are still there, in plain view...though most would just look away.

The fog is lifting a bit. It doesn't feel as heavy and I can breath a little easier. Visibility is improving, I can see a bit of road ahead of me. I can even see a few sparks of sunshine here and there. I want to capture each and every one of those sparks and save them in a jar. Use the light for when the fog returns.
Thanks for this!

Dear SilverNeurotic ~ what a true and beautiful picture you paint with your words. I am so GRATEFUL that the fog is lifting and you see some light ahead. TheByzantine was right - you are a brave and able warrior, and perhaps the light is your strength that you see shining through! Bless You and may your world get ever lighter and brighter! billieJ
