Another Day In Paradise

This morning I went down to out patients emergency to get my ears flushed out by my family doctor as he was on duty today. I registered at 7:30 am and there was only one person ahead of me. I figured I'd get there early to get in earlier. I was called in at 9:45 and my doctor saw me at 10:00 . He said he would take care of it . It's 11:15 and I'm so ****ing pissed I walk straight out the door without saying a word. Not a good day to start off. Just after 3:00 pm I just wanted to sleep , so I took a nap. Long nap. It's now 7:00 pm so I thought I would check my councelor's appointment card to see what time my appointment was for tomorrow. It was at 3:45 pm TODAY. ****

Hang in there. Call your doctor to see if you can get in tomarrow. Just explain that you got your days mixed up. I'm sure he/she'll understand

Oh, (((((((babysteps)))))))))). A new year, a dark month, ears full of wax and the docs are having a brain strike. Thunderbear had some good advice. I find saying that I had to go thow up is pretty good, since most clinics don't want you there with stomache flu I really, really hope that you get some relief soon. that with ears is NOT FUN! Huggs again.

Just a tiny suggestion: My husband's doctor told him to buy a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and in his shower every morning, turn his head to the side and pour it into his ear. Let it bubble a bit and then rinse it out. Same purpose. He wears hearing aids and so his ears produce a great deal of wax because of that. Seems to work for him.

I know your aggravation, Babysteps. Once I went to a hospital for an x-ray. They led me into a teeny-tiny booth and told me to take off all my clothes and put on one of those breezy gowns, and they would come for me. I sat there for ONE HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES. I finally put my clothes back on, stepped out and told them I was leaving. Wow, were they shocked. I was NOT in the mood. My doctor's office called me several hours later and said they had called him and apologized all over the place. I went back two days later and I was in and out in 30 minutes.
