I achieved something today which was hard for me, and I haven't done it for some time.
I don't wish to share what it was.
Post what you've achieved today, even getting out of bed counts, mine wasn't "only" that though.

Hmmm, let me guess - you raided a bee hive of all it's HONEY(YUM)LOL- congratulations on your achievment!!

I spent most of the moring taking my 7yr old to the doctor and then to get the prescription filled - she had a 103F fever. Thats my achievment for today. I think this is a good idea for a thread, to celebrate our achievments - no matter how big or small!! Thanks Fuzzy

Almost all of my day was drawing the pattern pieces and selecting fabrics to make a Christmas table runner for my d-i-l.

I cleaned a dirty pot.
I found and bookmarked a news website.
I put on work gloves and rubbed the dog all over just the way he likes it.

I did a load of clothes this evening, then loaded and set the dishwasher running. *sigh* Not much of an achievement I'm afraid.

I left early Monday due to being "sick" then spent the rest of the day in bed.

I want a dancing teddy bear!

well today (yesterday now) I meditated after severely falling off the wagon with that. I had a healthy breakfast, another wagon I had fallen off of. I wrote in my journal, yep I'd fallen off that one too. Today was the best I've been in several weeks. I felt more inspired to do these I'd been laying in bed thinking about doing.
Thanks for this!

I've been unusually productive this morning and afternoon..

*This morning after someone on another site suggested it, I ordered Alan Carr's book (audio) The Easy Way to Stop Smoking (I'm not a sucker for this type of stuff but a few celebs, including Ellen Degeneres endorsed it. She announced on her show she stopped smoking using this method, also Ashton Kuscher and Anthony Hopkins)

*I finally washed my bed linens (that was 3 loads). I'm embarrassed to say how long overdue that was.

* I gave the Yorkie a bath since he likes to get in my bed and I didn't want him dirty on my clean linens (guess that means I'll have to bathe now too, lol)

* Put all 88 covers back on bed. Whew!

* Posted several posts to this site and the social anxiety support site I'm on.

*Unloaded dishwasher

*swept kitchen

*ate spaghetti for lunch now I'm treating myself to chocalate chip peanut butter cookies and ice cream.

Great idea for a thread fuzzybear even if you are a bit of a tease about it.

I'm not sure when yesterday ended and today began because I didn't get a wink of sleep but....... since daylight.... I managed to get this far into the day without a meltdown and I finally put the christmas tree outside Heading out soon to take the dog for a walk to the river and the park for a run. He will run and I will sway on a swing.

I completed an involved application for work today as well as the assessment tests that go with it. Felt good to get that out of the way.

I also went to an EFT tapping session. I hate it when issues with my mother comes up because I don't want to waste my money on her in therapy, LOL. Which is really kind of unavoidable since she's a large part of why I'm getting help anyway. But anyway, the session sort of went that way so you deal with what comes up, right?

I've done EFT with this woman in a group before but this was our first private session. I'm glad I decided to take care of myself and not convince myself I can't afford it. I'll go again on Thursday (today is Monday).
Peace
