Have you ever been on the verge of something exciting and at the same time been so overwhelmed by it, you find that depression just wants to creep in and steal your joy? That's where I'm at. My husband and I are beginning our third bipolar support group with the DBSA and it excites me. However, I realize it is going to be alot more time consuming. I've been told by my pdoc I already have a full plate but I feel this is the right thing to do.

I have been told it takes the same amount of effort to think positive as it takes to think negative so why not use our energies in a positive way? Preparation too should reduce the anxiety.

Good luck.
