Hope this thread helps people feel more hopeful. I have had clinical depression since 1990...a lot of years in other words. I have truely have an awareness that can only come from going through depressive episode after depressive episode. That awareness is that depressive episodes do not last. There WILL be days to follow when you will not be in depression. No matter how loud or how covincing that depressive voice is that is telling you that life will never get better, know that it will. And when someone replys to a poster that cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel, they are not giving you lip service when they say "things will get better" for they speak the truth. Thank you for reading this...I hope it helps.

Futz, thank you so much for sharing this. My heart has been heavy today with news of what Andrew Koenig's family is going through, and thinking so recently too of Alexander McQueen, and those I have known and loved in the past who could not see that there was any hope left and chose to leave this world. I send all of those who are in pain, not knowing when the sun will shine again, my love and honest truth in saying, you never know how truly loved you are. Even when you think that no one cares. We do. I have been there, too.

While I do have issues with your screen name, (sorry, my bad)

You often have thoughtful things to say.
Thanks!

[/QU that's quite alright Sky. Sometimes my dyslexia can really cause others to have issues with my user name (wink).

Well, I don't start threads often. But just wanted to share some hope, let you know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. That we have choices and we can make good choices that bring the light closer to us and our loved ones. These are the choices I strive to make.

Thank you so much...I can attest that what you say is the truth. I've been going through it for 31 years!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
