Dear all,
I am looking for a good doctor who helps me to overcome my depression, I have been depressed for ages, but my condition has worsened in the last months. I have been attending a NHS therapist but the sessions have expired and haven't got better at all. I am really in despair. I live in London, southeast, so I would like to find someone either nearby or around Central London. I would much appreciate your help. |

Hi ElisaAM - This maybe something your family doctor could help you with. If you asked them they might be able to refer you to one. Thats what my family doctor did - he found me a therapist that came to the hospital close by. I only had to drive 20 minutes to my appointments. It's just an idea.... I live in the US and I'm not sure is just looking in the phone directory would help you... It lists therapist in our phone direcotrys and where they are located. Some travel to outside towns once a week to see patients here in the states.
I wish you luck Elisa.

Hello, ElisaAM. There are some listings here. http://www.ceimh.bham.ac.uk/download...sProOrgs.shtml
Does the UK have a place to check whether psychologists, psychiatrists and psychotherapists have had disciplinary proceedings brought against them? |
